Bought this knife for myself. Love the look of the Damascus Steel and the handle. The knife is well-made. The hinge is a little stiff but is getting easier to open with use and oiling. Bonus, the leather case is very nice and well-made.

My wife bought this folder as a gift for me. It is a beautiful piece, but highly reflected in the price is the workmanship. There is a huge crack in the damascus at the bolster, the edge is poorly profiled for actual use and was dull out of the box. The cutting edge has some significant glinting and rolling, and the handle scales are poorly fitted. I was able to get a halfway decent edge on it with some work, but I would not recommend for anything other than a display piece. I am truly disappointed but don't tell my wife lol.
