The Damascus steel for this blade was created by forge welding multiple layers of different steels into a solid block. The combination of layered hard and soft steel creates blade flexibility, toughness and produces tiny serrations on the blade that aid cutting and keeps the blade sharp.

We use natural materials, which vary and may create small differences in appearance from the pictures. Every knife is an original work of art, with a unique Damascus blade pattern. Each and every knife is truly one of a kind. All knives are handmade and may have minor imperfections & blemishes.

Care Tips to Prevent Rust:

Do not store the knife in the leather sheath for long periods of time.

Leather pulls moisture from the air and can rust the blade if not stored properly.

After use, wash the knife in soap and water and dry completely. Oil or wax the blade to prevent rust.

Not an empty headed bimbo!

I bought this knife for my husband for Christmas. When he opened it, I could tell he liked the look of it immediately, but was cautious about praise. Once he tested the blade, he knew this gorgeous knife wasn't like an empty headed bimbo: all looks and no substance. The thing could actually cut! Christmas Day he was a tape cutting fool for all who needed assistance during gift opening time. Finally, he said loudly, "This knife is awesome! I LOVE it!" Ever since, he's shown it off like the proud husband of an adored bride. Ladies, get him the knife! There's so much more to it than a pretty face.

Attractive, well-made knife

Bought this knife as a gift and the receiver loved it. The knife is well-made. The Damascus steel is very attractive as is the horn/wood handle. Very sharp. Detailed care instructions were also included.
